How to Make Raspberry Mint Iced Tea

This naturally sweet and caffeine-free iced tea combines juicy raspberries with crisp, refreshing mint leaves for a drink that tastes as lovely as it looks. It’s hydrating, antioxidant-rich, and easy to make in batches. Serve it over ice with fresh fruit and herbs for a touch of elegance.

Servings: 6 cups (1.5 litres)

 Ingredients

6 cups of water

1 cup fresh or frozen raspberries

¼ cup fresh mint leaves (plus extra for garnish)

2 herbal tea bags (such as hibiscus, raspberry leaf, or mint )

2–3 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste)

Juice of ½ lemon (optional)

Ice cubes

Fresh raspberries and lemon slices (for serving, optional)

Instructions

In a medium saucepan, bring 6 cups of water to a boil.

Turn off the heat. Add the raspberries, mint leaves, and tea bags (if using) to the hot water.

Cover and let steep for 10 minutes. If using frozen raspberries, let steep a little longer (12–15 minutes).

Use a fine-mesh strainer to strain the tea into a large pitcher. Press the raspberries gently to extract extra flavour.

Stir in honey or maple syrup while the tea is still warm. Add lemon juice if desired. Let cool at room temperature, then refrigerate for 1–2 hours.

Pour over ice and garnish with fresh mint, raspberries, and lemon slices.
